Pero cuando los s\u00edntomas de la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nimh.nih.gov\/health\/topics\/depression\/index.shtml#part_145397\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">depresi\u00f3n<\/a> son graves, persistentes e interfieren con las actividades cotidianas, estos pueden ser signos de depresi\u00f3n cl\u00ednica (tambi\u00e9n llamada Trastorno Depresivo Mayor o TDM). Cuando la depresi\u00f3n mayor ocurre durante el embarazo o despu\u00e9s del parto, se denomina Depresi\u00f3n Periparto (DPP; anteriormente llamada depresi\u00f3n posparto). El trastorno depresivo mayor y la depresi\u00f3n periparto son condiciones de salud graves que pueden dificultar la realizaci\u00f3n de las tareas diarias para cuidarse a s\u00ed misma o a su beb\u00e9, y pueden interferir con el v\u00ednculo afectivo, lo que podr\u00eda tener un efecto negativo en el desarrollo y el comportamiento del beb\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La depresi\u00f3n no es nada de lo que avergonzarse.
